London Festival of Architecture 2023, London | 1-30 June

The London Festival of Architecture is a people-led programme curated by event organisers. Every June, London celebrates a month-long exhibition of city-making and architecture. In 2023, the festival will be held from 1-30 June in multiple locations across London. The organisers believe in collaborating with people who live, know, and shape London. The architecture event will be based on the theme “In Common”. This year’s theme has multiple associations and meanings which will enable the event organisers to come up with a rich and varied programme that celebrates architecture on a global stage.

Since the Festival’s origin in 2004, it has had as its goal the celebration of excellent design, the promotion of London as a centre for architecture worldwide, and the identification of young designers’ hidden potential. Anyone with a passion for London’s architecture and built environment should attend the festival.

London Festival of Architecture – Destinations 2023

Events for LFA 2023 will be held all across the city, and organisers are invited from every section of London. The 2023 destinations will span Greater London and include some of the most distinctive and architecturally significant regions. Each LFA destination gives visitors the chance to see the local architecture and culture, as well as take part in a variety of events that are being held along specially selected pathways within a small but densely populated neighbourhood.

• Clerkenwell & Holborn
• Penge and Palace
• South Westminster
• Royal Docks

‘Waste Not, Want Not’

The London Festival of Architecture (LFA) has officially launched the third Showroom Showcase competition, which will feature a number of inventive window installations by up-and-coming architects and designers. Emerging designers and architects are invited to participate in the competition and build original architectural pieces that will be shown in showroom windows throughout London during LFA 2023 in June. The deadline for submissions is midday on 20 January 2023, with winning teams revealed in February 2023.
