The Farmani Group created the Architecture MasterPrize as the adjunct initiative of the IDA International Design Awards, which has been honouring and celebrating smart architecture and sustainable multidisciplinary interior design since 2007. The registration date for The Architecture MasterPrize 2023 started on February 28, 2023, and will end on 31st August 2023.

The Design of the Year awards are given for exceptional work in single projects of interior design, architecture and landscape design in the last 5 years. The top 3 award categories in this section are:

The architectural firm of the Year award
AMP’s highest honour is the Architectural Firm of the Year Award. It honours the excellence of inspiring and innovative architecture, interior, and landscape design firms worldwide, and it is given based on the companies’ entire body of work over their careers.
The architectural products of the Year
The Architectural Products of the Year award honours the most exceptional products and materials that meet the complex requirements of construction in the modern era.
The architecture photography master award
This award is given for the best architectural photograph decided by the esteemed jury.

The Architecture MasterPrize – Judging process
Initial Review
Before the judging process begins, all entries are reviewed by the editors to ensure that they are finalized, photos are correctly uploaded, and the entries are ready to be presented to the jury members.
Official Selection / Honorable Mentions
The first stage involves the editors and a panel of expert jurors deciding on a longlist, known as the AMP Official Selection.
Winners Selection
In the second stage, jurors are assigned a set of entries based on their expertise. Jurors award projects based on design excellence, aesthetics, environmental, cultural, and contextual considerations and overall originality – including the use of new, innovative technologies or creative solutions. This round determines the winners of each subcategory.
Best of Best Selection
The third stage is where the best entries from all categories are chosen and awarded the Best of Best title.
Architects / Designers Of the Year Selection
The jury revises the Best of Best entries again and chooses their top three favourite projects to be nominated for Design of the Year. The entry with the most nominations in each main category including architectural, interior, and landscape design will be named Design of the Year and receive the AMP trophy.
The Architecture MasterPrize – Winner’s Event
After the declaration of the awards, the winners will get all the information about the award event by Email.
